ABOUT BRANDI
Brandi Aguilar is a bonafide L.A. girl, being born, raised, and living in Los Angeles her whole entire life (She was raised in Santa Clarita, CA, 30 minutes north of Hollywood, although born in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Brandi was just 3 months old when she moved to Santa Clarita, so she remembers NOTHING about Rancho Cucamonga, sorry folks!). With Hollywood being right in her backyard, Brandi got to start her acting career super young. At the tender age of 10, Brandi started her professional acting career, doing both acting and modeling. Brandi was an absolute favorite kid actress with casting directors, with her big brown eyes, lots of freckles, and rambunctious, quirky personality. Brandi's first modeling job was for Stein Mart stores, the 1999 Back-To-School Kids Fashion Show. Brandi then did a little student film just 2 months later, entitled "Grandma's Story". At age 11, Brandi did her first TV commercial, which was a national TV commercial for Eggo Waffles. She's still upset to this day she does not get free Eggo Waffles for life. IT'S JUST NOT FAIR. Moving on...sorry...anyways, at age 12, Brandi made her stage debut in a workshop production of the musical "Into the Woods" in Los Angeles. This is also where Brandi was asked to sign her first autograph, and probably also the last time Brandi was asked to sign an autograph. But it doesn't matter, 12 year old Brandi was happy to give her autograph! It was a sweet, little old lady that came up to Brandi and asked for the autograph. When the old lady then left with Brandi's autograph, Brandi's dad then asked for her autograph, but does it REALLY count if it's your dad? El oh el. From 2002-2004, Brandi did more workshop stage musical productions, such as "Bugsy Malone", "A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Musical" and "Rebel without a Cause". When she was 16,Brandi did a TV pilot for a Discovery Kids show, which never aired. Around the same time, Brandi performed a scene for the LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) examinations and scored "proficient" (just two points away from the highest score possible). Brandi made her feature-length film debut at age 17 in the 2006 avant-garde movie "Greed" as wise-cracking, troubled teenager, Tabitha. "Greed" was on Netflix for 2 years.
After appearing in a few more films from 2007-2009, Brandi played the quirky Gillian in the digital series "My Roommate Sam", and played the teenage prostitute in the controversial movie Monday Morning, directed by Nat Christian. She's also appeared in music videos for bands/singers such as Yellowcard for their song "Sing for Me" and singer Sadie Jemmett for her song "Don't Silence Me". She then appeared on the Pro-Wrestling show Championship Wrestling from Hollywood as Ring-Girl Brandi from 2013-2014 alongside many pro-wrestlers such as Joey Ryan and even met Jake the Snake! Then, Brandi appeared in the film "Girlfriend Lies" as Wanda, opposite actor Tyler Ritter of the CBS show "The McCarthy's". Next, Brandi portrayed the part of Pearl Hart in the stage-reading of the play "Waiting Women" at the 2014 Women's Theatre Festival of Memphis. Brandi appeared on an episode of the popular TV court show "Supreme Justice with Judge Karen" as the hilarious role of Amelia Fosberg, another troubled, wise-cracking teenager (but this time, Brandi wasn't 17 in real life, she was an adult!) Then, Brandi appeared in the Lionsgate film "SMOSH: The Movie" as one of the Anthony's girlfriends in his dream. Brandi also does voice-overs, Brandi is the voice of Selena Gomez, Madonna, and Taylor Swift in the popular cartoon "Hyena House Brawl" and the voice of Sally Acorn and Nami in the popular cartoon "Cartoon Hookups". In Spring 2015, Brandi also originated the role of the Queen in the comedy play, "The Pre-Musketeers", a hilarious prequel to The Three Musketeers. Brandi was nominated for the Theatre's Goldie Awards as Best Supporting Actress in a Family show for her portrayal of the Queen. Brandi was ensemble in the premiere of the new play "Monsters Come Out at Night" at Zombie Joe's Underground Theatre which got nominated for "Best Choreography" in the Valley Theatre Awards. Brandi can also be seen in the drama movie "Blood Tulips" as young prostitute Helga, and premiered in Manchester, UK in January 2020, and most recently, starred in the movie "Clickbait" as the role of high-strung, nerdy college student Emma, which earned Brandi the award for "Best Supporting Actress in a Feature Film" at the FANTastic Horror Film Festival and "Best On-Screen Duo" at the Genre Blast Film Festival. You can see Brandi in Clickbait on Amazon Prime, Tubi, YouTube Movies, Fandango, Vudu, xBox, and on Blu-Ray through HorrorPack. Coming up for Brandi, she will be starring in the new play "Pedro the Puppeteer" in the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June 2020. You can also see Brandi in the upcoming film "Ted Bundy Had a Son". Also, since 2010, Brandi stars and produces her own sketch comedy show on YouTube, called "Weird Brandi" which has accumulated over 1 million viewers. She also produces and stars in the digital series "Creeper" that Brandi is VERY excited about! Other than her acting endeavors, Brandi has a Bachelors degree in Communication from Concordia University Irvine where she wrote for the university's newspaper and sang in the Concordia Women's Choir. Brandi won the title of Miss Santa Clarita Spirit 2008 in the Miss. Santa Clarita Scholarship Pageant. Brandi is extremely passionate about traveling and dreams of owning a small apartment in every European country and doesn't feel her life is full if she doesn't get to travel. Brandi is also convinced she was born in the wrong decade and is obsessed with 50's Pin-up culture and anything vintage/retro, punk rock, or goth. She loves The Doors and Depeche Mode and death metal (the more hardcore , the better), 80s music, classic rock, and going to loud concerts, and has a weird crush on Nicholas Cage in the movie "Valley Girl". Brandi is truly the jester in her family. She also REALLY loves animals a little TOO much.
